Administration Ministry

THE ADMINISTRATION TEAM make sure the church runs smoothly, from premises booking to safeguarding our young people and adults and arranging visiting speakers.

The main objective of this team is to ensure the smooth running of the church from an administrative perspective. In particular, the group provides support to the church secretary, and shares some of their workload. Inevitably, much of the activity of the team takes place behind the scenes, with no particular need for meetings.

The review of Gilgal's DBS register to ensure that all those involved with any aspect of our work with children and young people has an up to date DBS Disclosure.

To ensure periodic hosting of a safeguarding children course run by the South Wales Baptist Association and encouraging all those involved with any aspect of our children and young people’s work to attend.

The development and maintainance of a safeguarding policy for adults at risk to sit alongside the existing one for children and young people.

To ensure periodic review of our detailed safeguarding procedures for children and young people. 

To ensure up to date  job descriptions for all the tasks undertaken by the team.

Ensuring compliance to the newly introduced GDPR regulations.
